Freerice: Help Without Spending

Fight World Hunger
Today I intend to write for a cause. I strongly believe the need to mention again a method of helping without spending—Freerice. A year ago I first share this opportunity to help in 3 Grammar. Let’s have a brush up of what Freerice is all about.

Play and donate are the words that best describe the site: every correct answer from your chosen subject (for example, grammar, vocabulary, and geography) enables you to donate 10 grains of rice. The advertisers pay for all the grains that are given for free in different countries.

Recently, I found out that Freerice becomes interactive, that is, participants can communicate with each other. You can create a profile (not to miss for your link building) so as to track how many grains of rice you have donated; such addition inspires me to frequently play. Based on the total, you can imagine how many people you’ve helped while fighting hunger in the world.

I’m happy to know that there are many participants believing in the cause of Freerice. Some are part of a group already but I’m still thinking if I would join one. Anyway, it is a good idea to form a group making it easier to have teamwork and to encourage each other to participate more.

Better yet, you can encourage your friends to join and start your own group. Social networking sites abound the Internet; it’s just ordinary these days to be part of more than one social sites. If we can commune to share our thoughts, picture etc. wouldn’t it be better to do something worthwhile—helping and learning. Isn’t it more fun than planting or harvesting online?

Wait, I’m just going to relax a bit. I’ve never been so persistent in referring others to a site but Freerice is an exception and a must-to-join site. (It’s time to resume my campaign.) I know like me, you’ve wished to help others through online donation but lack of resources kept you from doing one’s share. So don’t let this opportunity to help go to waste. All you need is to give your time and PLAY.

Join me in Freerice. Encourage others to not miss such chance. We can work together in ending hunger in the world. The more (player) the merrier (will be the recipient all over the world).

What a good cause. I personally think that bloggers like us have more power to spread the word, specially for things like this.
Sorry about the name "Claire", I edited my post already and corrected it. :)
Wishing you a happy weekend!

You're absolutely right Willa. Bloggers, I think are not just storytellers, we are also have the responsibility or more likely the privilege to spread good news, for example, ways to help others as what Freerice is doing.

And about the name,it's all right. It's just but natural.

For all bloggers, kudos!

Let's share more great news!

It's a good cause, it's always noble to extend some help and to think that you play but still helps, that's great.

@ Invest and Work at Home

You're definitely right. But don't forget it's not just playing, it's also about learning. By playing I get to recall the Periodic Table of Elements and more.

Have fun in playing. Have bliss in GIVING!
